This page will be dedicated to being low carb... and Anorexic. Switching from eating nothing but low-fat/fat-free foods to 0 carb or extremely low carb foods.

What many people do not know, is that Anorexics are loaded with FAT. Yes, FAT. Their bodies eat their muscles... which explains why many emaciated Anorexics can still pull a piece of flab here and there.

On the contrary... if you eat foods that are extremely high in fat, and extremely low in carbs, you force your body into Ketosis ( as you do when you fast ) and your body feeds on the fat your body has stored, not the muscle.

The result... a body free of fat. If you are like me, you watched Jennifer Aniston and Calista Flockhart rapidly downsize and wondered how they did it.

They look great, don't they? They claim to be eating disorder free... but I'll let you be the judge of that.

So how DID they do it? Calista has switched to 0 carbs, and Jennifer has to switched to extremely low carbs.

The basic low carb diet suggests you keep your daily carbs under 25 grams a day. The Pro-Ana version is 5 grams of carbs or less a day. This allows you to keep your daily cal intake considerably low, and your daily carb intake even lower.

This page will be about my new discovery - Low Carb Anas. Being Anorexic myself, I was shocked but also intrigued to learn more about this. Those of you who are familiar with low carb diets, such as the Atkins diet have a pretty good idea. Take that and make a few Pro-Ana adjustments and you've got it.
